Student Ministry Update 10/10/17

Hey Everyone:

We are excited for all that God is doing through our small groups here at Reimage Student Ministry. Check out this weeks meeting topic and service time below:

  • Best Seller Part 2
  • Small Group Service Project
  • Missions Night November 1st

Best Seller Part 2: When it comes to the Bible, do you ever wonder what all the fuss is about? In this series, we’ll unpack what the big deal is as we discover that the Bible can be a useful and powerful tool that impacts our lives today. If you’ve ever found yourself stumbling around in a dark room looking for a light, then you know what life without the help of the Bible looks like. Instead of waiting until the dark moments to turn to it, God wants us to see the Bible as a tool that can help you light up your whole path. This week, we’ll look at a few simple steps you can take to begin using the Bible to light your way.

Small Group Service Project: Through our student ministry small groups, we are going to be collecting canned good and funds to sponsor a families meal for thanksgiving. These families would otherwise not be able to afford a thanksgiving meal. We, as a student ministry of small groups can do something about it. From now until thanksgiving, we will have a friendly competition among the small groups to see who can bring the most canned goods. The goal is for each of the 4 small groups to sponsor one family. If enough food is collected, more families may be sponsored. Don’t forget to donate to this cause. It is an incredible way to impact our community.

Missions Night November 1st: We at Reimage Student Ministry are passionate about teenagers going on missions trips. That is why we are excited to announce that we will be headed to Guatemala to spread the gospel of Jesus via an evangelistic drama this summer. We have a special night on Wednesday, November 1st to take time and talk about this trip with Sean Park, founder of Maximum missions. Parents, we want you here as well to find out more, that is why this missions night is on the week when no adult regroups are meeting. Come and hear about the trip, ask questions, get fundraising ideas and more. Make plans now to attend this incredible night.

Thats all for now. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. Either email me at or call me at 252-355-6621. We look forward to seeing everyone Wednesday night at 7!
